New CEO for healthcare consultancy
Healthcare consultancy Archus has appointed Victoria Head as chief executive.
Most recently she was commercial and performance director of Bristol-based Archus and will succeed Richard Darch, who is stepping into a new role after founding the business more than seven years ago.
Before joining Archus, Head led the award-winning Grange University Hospital, which successful opened early during the COVID-19 pandemic. She joined Archus in 2021.
“We are thrilled to announce Victoria’s appointment as the new CEO,” said Alex Sleeth, chair of the board. “Her extensive experience and proven track record make her the ideal leader to guide Archus into its next phase of growth. We are confident that under her leadership, the company will continue to thrive and achieve new heights,” added Will Gresty, investor at BGF, which holds a minority stake in the business.
“Richard Darch has played a pivotal role in the company’s success and will remain with Archus in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition. Under his leadership, Archus has achieved numerous milestones, including expanding internationally, becoming a B Corp organisation, and securing investment from BGF in 2023.
“I am honoured to have led Archus and am proud of what we have accomplished together,” said Darch. “I am confident that Victoria is the right person to lead the company forward, and I am delighted that we have identified such exceptional talent within our business to take it into its next phase. I look forward to supporting Victoria during this transition.”
“I am excited to take on this new role and work with the talented team here at Archus,” said Head.
“Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation and drive the company towards even greater success. My vision for Archus is to become the most trusted partner in healthcare consultancy, known for our innovative solutions and unwavering commitment to improving patient outcomes. We will focus on expanding our services, embracing new technologies, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.”
