Care home in Cornwall under new ownership

Manor House Care Home in Liskeard, Cornwall has been sold.

Situated along Higher Tremar, Manor House Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 16 older people, including those with dementia.

The home has been owned and operated by Bob and Nicki Broadhurst for the last 21 years. The pair decided to sell to retire.

Following a confidential sales process with Eve-Angelica Apperly and Simon Harvey at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by first-time buyers, husband-and-wife team, Sveta and Darpan Patel.

Bob and Nicki Broadhurst, former owners of Manor House Care Home, said: “We have loved the experience of running Manor House for the last 21 years. The staff who are continuing to stay and run Manor House with the new owners have been fantastic and we cannot thank them enough for everything they have done, and we wish them all the best for the future.”

Darpan Patel, the new owner of Manor House Care Home, said: “Manor House Care Home has been serving the Liskeard area for over 20 years, offering a warm and welcoming environment for residents. Manor House Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
