Global energy specialist signs up to Bristol’s Skyline

Cubex and Fiera Real Estate have signed Secure Meters to Skyline, its urban logistics scheme in Bristol.
Secure Meters is a global company which focuses on reducing energy waste and costs. It will be moving into unit 1 at Skyline having secured a 10-year lease.
The site was purchased in an off-market transaction in April last year with the Fiera Real Estate Logistics Development Fund UK (FRELD), which has now funded 10 logistics developments across the UK.
The 75,000 sq ft scheme has seven units ranging between 4,000 sq ft & 16,000sq ft and is located 1.6 miles south of the M4/M5 interchange and 5 miles north of Bristol city centre with Bristol Parkway mainline station 1 mile away, providing trains to London Paddington in 1hr 15mins.
Neighbouring occupiers including Rolls Royce, Airbus & GKN cement the location as a leading submarket for aeronautical and aerospace manufacturing.
Christian Wright said: “The letting to Secure Meters confirms that occupier sentiment is back on the rise after a tough 2024 across the board. With interest from several strong covenants circling the scheme, we hope to build on the back of this letting and lock in some more quality tenants to what is the leading urban logistics scheme in the southwest over the coming months.”
