PR agency makes senior hire to support raft of client wins

Cheltenham based PR and creative communications agency HeadOn has recruited Olivia Furniss to the role of senior account executive as the firm triples its client growth in three years.

Her appointment follows an influx of new business wins in the UK and US including a national non-profit biomass and solid fuel certification organisation; a biotechnology company spun out of Oxford University using AI to uncover new cancer killing treatments; a South West- based professional services firm; and a Gloucestershire business-to-business data solutions and email marketing agency.

Furniss said: “This next step is incredibly exciting for me. The HeadOn team are all so friendly and true experts in their field; whether it’s securing press coverage to build brand credibility and visibility, gaining backlinks on top news platforms to boost search engine rankings, or managing events or social media campaigns to skyrocket awareness and connections. I’m impressed every day by their knowledge, providing an opportunity to grow my own skills and develop new ones.”

Verity Blake, managing director of HeadOn PR, said: “Olivia’s appointment comes at an exciting time for HeadOn as we continue to grow and expand our reach across the UK and internationally. At HeadOn, our strength lies in our people – creative minds with deep industry expertise who bring brands to life through storytelling that captivates, engages, and delivers real impact. Olivia’s talent and experience make her a fantastic addition to our team, and we’re thrilled to have her on board as we push boundaries, elevate our clients, and make their brands truly unforgettable.”
