Second phase of Devon development gets go ahead

Matthew Bennett

Housebuilder Allison Homes South West has secured planning approval for phase two at its High Moor View development in Devon.

Building on the earlier phase of the project, these proposals will provide 75 new two, three and four-bedroom homes for the community.

Matt Bennett, managing director at Allison Homes South West, said: “We’re very excited to have received planning permission for the next phase of High Moor View, and we look forward to bringing new, high-quality, traditionally built homes to local homeowners.

“Securing approval for Phase Two at High Moor View is an important milestone for Allison Homes South West and our ambitious growth plans for the region, which include ongoing progress across all our existing developments, and seeking out new land with plans to build more quality homes in the region in 2023 through to early 2024.”

Residents at High Moor View benefit from a beautiful rural location which is brimming with history and has good links to local amenities, including friendly pubs, and local businesses and organisations such as a health centre, cafes and a local school.

Situated close to the scenic gardens at Lytes Cary Manor and less than ten miles from Dartmoor National Park, the development offers the very best of modern country living.

Work on Phase 2 at High Moor View is expected to begin this summer.
