Cornwall to host ‘internationally significant’ business forum for first time

Leading entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovators from across the Celtic nations will gather in Falmouth next month for the Interceltic Business Forum.
Cornwall has been announced as the host of the 2025 event, organised in partnership with Cornwall Trade and Investment (CTI).
The 2025 forum follows successful editions in Lorient, Galway and Cardiff and will bring the Celtic nations together to uncover untapped opportunities and foster collaboration across key industries.
Charles Kergaravat, founder of the Interceltic Business Forum, said: “The Interceltic Business Forum is not just a conference – it’s a dynamic platform where Celtic entrepreneurs, business leaders, and policymakers come together to strengthen trade, foster collaboration, and open new markets. By working together, we create opportunities that drive economic growth and shape a prosperous future, all while honouring our shared heritage.”
Lord John Hutton, chair of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Economic Forum, will open the event, which will take place on Friday, April 25, at the National Maritime Museum.
Delegates will benefit from a packed agenda of keynote speeches, panel sessions, fireside chats and masterclasses, with representation from all the Celtic nations. Topics will cover AI and language, how to undertake investor outreach, economic development, placemaking and more.
Nicola Lloyd, from Cornwall Trade and Investment, said: “Cornwall has a vibrant business landscape and is a leader in the green revolution. The Interceltic Business Forum is a fantastic platform to showcase our capabilities and dynamic business environment, foster innovation and drive sustainable economic growth across the Celtic nations.
“By bringing Celtic businesses together, we can facilitate new relationships that could help Cornish businesses scale up and explore new markets.”
