More than half of garden village housing scheme sold

More than half of the homes for sale at Bellway’s Ladden Garden Village development in Yate have now been sold.

The housebuilder is constructing 161 private homes off Clayhill Drive and 86 of these have been reserved by buyers, with 70 customers already moved in.

A further 86 affordable homes are being built for rent or shared ownership at the development, with 31 of these homes also complete.

Rachel Way, sales manager for Bellway South West, said: “We have come a long way with our development in Yate and now we can see quite a community growing here, with more buyers keen to move in when their properties are complete.

“We have a range of homes here from two to four-bedroom designs so there is something for people at different stages of the housebuying journey. First-time buyers and families are all finding something that works well with their way of life.

“Commuters are also finding it convenient as we are only a half-hour drive from central Bristol, and 15 minutes from junction 18 of the M4.

“And for those working from home now, the properties we are building offer the flexibility and space for that. Many of our new residents are enjoying being able to pursue their working life while being located in such pleasant surroundings.

“Another key feature is that generally property prices are much less expensive here than nearer Bristol city centre, so customers are finding their money goes further by heading further out.”

Two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses are currently available with Bellway at Ladden Garden Village.
