£10.2m order to boost Ukraine’s military effort won by South West manufacturer
Defence manufacturer Avon Technologies has secured an order from the MoD worth around £10.2m to supply its respirators to support Ukraine’s armed forces.
The Melksham, Wiltshire-based group, which specialises in protective gear, masks and breathing equipment for the military and first-responder markets, will deliver the equipment next year.
It will include its FM50 respirator, which meets the latest NATO forces' military mask requirements with variants in use across the world.
