Coffee company moves into new £1m head office

A Gloucestershire business specialising in coffee is moving into a purpose built headquarters.

Cirencester-based Rave Coffee, is making the £1m move as part of its ambitious expansion plans.

The new head office will also house a cafe, coffee roaster, offices, a purpose built cupping room and coffee laboratory.

Windows in the café will allow visitors the chance to see their coffee go all the way from green bean to cup.

The new building is on Phoenix Way in Cirencester and will open on next month.

The building has been renovated by Dryfesdale Construction Ltd, from a 10,000 sq. ft. industrial unit that had been left unoccupied and deteriorating for 15 years.

Co-founder of Rave Coffee Vikki Hodge said: “This is a big moment for Rave and many years in the works, finally bringing product development, production, packing and fulfilment back under one roof.

“Having become part of the fabric of life in Cirencester over the past decade, we were delighted to find a unit on Phoenix Way that combines space and functionality with a big dose of personality.

“The new Rave HQ opens up so many possibilities, including new product development, greener production and more employment opportunities. We can’t wait to welcome more locals into our 45-cover café. It’s been an incredible journey so far and our new home feels like the perfect space for Rave to grow and take the community along with us.”
