Marine manufacturer snapped up by Danish company

A Dorset manufacturer of marine systems has been acquired for an undisclosed amount by a Danish firm.

Christchurch based Ocean Marine Systems, which was launched in 2014, has been bought by Hundested Propeller.

For over 100 years, Hundested Propeller has been a manufacturer of marine equipment and the firm supplies complete controllable pitch propulsion systems, marine gearboxes, thrusters and sail drive solutions.
