Pioneering puppet tech helps fast-growing animation studio perform on world stage
A South West animation studio has doubled its turnover in four years after developing breakthrough puppetry technology.
Bristol-based Black Laboratory secured a £24,000 Business Innovation Fund grant through the West of England Combined Authority Growth Hub to research and develop puppix, a process that captures physical puppetry in real time and instantly converts it into digital on-screen performance.
