Boss of Ashton Gate Stadium to stand down after 14 years
Mark Kelly has stepped down as chair of Ashton Gate Stadium and CEO of the Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter after almost 14 years with the Bristol Sport group.
Kelly, who joined the sporting group at its inception, oversaw the £50m redevelopment of the stadium alongside Martin Griffiths, and helped transform it into an internationally recognised multi-use venue.
Following Kelly’s resignation in June to explore other opportunities, there has been a transition period which will see him leave early next month.
