Bristol Airport links with Weston College on travel careers hub
Bristol Airport and Weston College have formed a travel and tourism career excellence hub that will give local students access to work placements, guest lecturers and industry projects.
The partnership will provide students with industry insights, networking opportunities and collaboration on sector-relevant projects.
The airport says it provides the largest number of jobs in the area, with 5,800 people employed on-site by over 50 companies. Some 70% of staff live within a 20-mile radius and nearly 1,000 in Weston-super-Mare.
