Green light for Paignton scheme
The green light has been given for the development of 101 homes on the western edge of Paignton.
Planning and design consultancy Boyer, part of Leaders Romans Group, has secured full planning consent on behalf of Torbay Development Agency (TDA) .
The 4.02ha vacant site, located on both sides of Preston Down Road, will deliver a variety of homes, from one to four bedroom units.
Thirty per cent will be affordable housing.
Jemma Shorrock, associate director in Boyer’s Cardiff office, said: “We are delighted to have achieved this planning consent on behalf of TDA. This is a well thought through scheme which will deliver much needed homes to this popular town.”
In achieving planning success, Boyer worked alongside technical consultants at Torbay Development, Agency, architects LHC Design, lighting consultant Lighting Bee and environmental consultants Burton Reid Associates.
