Burges Salmon secures place on panel for South West Water owner

Law firm Burges Salmon has secured a place on the new legal services panel for existing client Pennon Group plc, the owner of South West Water, Bristol Water and Bournemouth Water.

The appointment for Burges Salmon follows a review by Pennon Group last month of its panel of external legal advisers.

The firm’s water and wider sector specialists will have the opportunity to provide Pennon Group, as part of this panel appointment, with advice on a range of legal services including corporate, debt and equity markets, commercial and intellectual property, tax, pensions, litigation, employment, data protection and privacy, property and construction, environmental, regulation, competition law, public law, IT and cyber security, health and safety, renewable energy and infrastructure.
