South West drinks firm acquired by Irn-Bru maker proves its mettle with revenue boost
AG Barr, the Scottish drinks manufacturer behind Irn-Bru, today said its acquisition of Devon-based rival Frobishers had helped it grow its revenue and avoid it passing on price rises to customers.
AG Barr paid £13m for Exeter-headquartered Frobishers in February along with a £38m deal to buy Northumberland-based soft drinks firm Fentimans.
