Tech firm wins European Space Agency contract for satellite infrastructure monitoring
Cornwall-based Green Power Solutions has secured an 18-month contract with the European Space Agency's Business Applications and Space Solutions programme.
The Pool Innovation Centre-based company will examine how machine learning and satellite positioning data can help operations teams manage off-grid infrastructure more effectively.
The Smart Ops project will seek to identify maintenance needs earlier, prioritise equipment issues and help dispatch the nearest suitably qualified engineer when a site visit is required.
