Tougher B Corps standards welcomed by ethical bank as it gains re-accreditation
Ethical bank Triodos has had its B Corp certification renewed – in the process welcoming the stricter environmental and social performance standards now needed to gain the coveted status.
The bank, which has its UK headquarters in Bristol, became the first pan-Europe bank to achieve B Corp certification in 2015.
That accreditation followed the official European launch of the B Corps movement – which showcases businesses that balance financial profit with positive impacts on people and the planet.
