Big four firm announces series of promotions across South West

Accountancy firm Deloitte has announced a series of promotions in its South West office.

The big four firm has promoted two people to partner and 16 people to director in its Bristol office, where a total of 211 people have been promoted across all grades and businesses this summer.

Giles Houghton and Luke Webber have been promoted to partner, both are part of risk advisory and specialise in cyber services.

Giles Houghton is a cyber specialist working in the firm’s cyber, digital and data practice. He has spent over 20 years working with large government departments in the UK and Middle East, building and securing critical systems. He is passionate about driving and promoting cyber skills and innovation in the South West.

Luke Webber leads the firm’s central government cyber, digital and data risk business.

He has 20 years’ technology, digital, data and cyber risk experience and has worked extensively across the public sector delivering secure, critical citizen services.

The 16 new directors are Jean-Marie Delport, Helen Hodge and Kseniia Jones in Risk Advisory, Richard Bailey and Rob Figueiredo in Audit & Assurance, Abbi Cole and Charlotte Czaczkes in Tax & Legal, Ed Bell, Richard Bevan-Williams, Tom Edwards, Liz Rich and Emily Sarwa in Financial Advisory, and Chris Bennett, Simon Moore, Joanna Tarnowska and Lorna Weir in Consulting.
