Tech agency opens in Bristol

Fast-growing technology agency Thought Quarter has opened its second UK office in Berkeley Square, Bristol.

The company was welcomed to the city by guest speakers Victoria Matthews, Membership Director at Business West; James Goodall, Board member of Business in the Community and Head of Sales South West and Wales at Enterprise Rent-A-Car; and Tom Batten, Head of Consultancy at Future Leap.

Thought Quarter, which also has offices in Cornwall, has grown by 70% in the last year. The company has achieved significant success in providing bespoke and high return on investment technology solutions – from e-commerce management to customer experience optimisation systems – for ambitious organisations that are focussed on bringing about positive change societally and environmentally.

Clients include leading companies in the South West such as waste removal services provider Wascle, leading high speed broadband network provider Wildanet, and Kensa, the UK’s leading heat pump specialists.

Bristol is the perfect location for our second office as the city has a strong sense of purpose and a great tech community. One company to benefit from Thought Quarter’s technology solutions is Livin, a major not-for-profit housing association, providing high quality and adaptable homes to enhance the lives of its tenants.

Amongst the work completed for the housing association was the creation of an online portal and self-service system, which significantly enhanced customer service level whilst drastically reducing calls to the call centre. Thought Quarter’s work has resulted in a saving of over 12,000 people hours for the not-for-profit organisation.

At the opening of the new office, it was announced that Thought Quarter will be teaming up with sustainability consultancy Future Leap to undertake research amongst the city’s organisations to understand the current digital sustainability of business operations.

The study’s findings will be used to create a guide to sustainable best practice in the digital space.
