Michael Strong

Michael is an audit and advisory partner with 25 years’ experience working with businesses and organisations across a variety of sectors including privately owned businesses and groups, professional partnerships, regulated sector clients, PE backed businesses, AIM listed, and not-for-profit clients.  He enjoys building long lasting relationships with clients, leading the delivery of services across audit, accounting, business advisory, taxation, and corporate finance.  Michael’s client base ranges from SMEs to international groups, and in addition to his client facing work he sits on the firm’s audit leadership team and is the firm’s Audit Compliance Principal.  He is also a member of the firm’s Responsible Business strategy group, as well as contributing to the sector interest groups such as professional practices, financial services, and not-for-profit.

Michael is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser, and his approach is to deliver advice across often complex areas in a clear and understandable way, removing unnecessary complexity and jargon as this works best for busy entrepreneurial clients who want to resolve issues quickly.

Michael is a trustee of two charities, and outside of work he is a keen musician and composer.
