Flybe cancellations affect Birmingham Airport

Four of Flybe’s Birmingham Airport routes have been hit by cancellations today caused by unspecified “operational reasons”.
The regional airline has been forced to cancel a number of flights scheduled for today across seven different airports.
The Birmingham routes affected are flights to and from Aberdeen, Belfast City, Bordeaux and Edinburgh.
Flybe said: “All customers affected have been emailed and advised they can rebook for travel on an alternative flight or apply for a full refund.”
The airline was bought recently by a consortium that included Virgin Atlantic and Stobart Group for just £2.8m.
