Birmingham shortlisted for culture status
BIRMINGHAM has been shortlisted as a finalist to stage the 2013 City of Culture festival.
The city will compete against Londonderry, Sheffield and Norwich for the honour of hosting the event.
The win could be worth millions of pounds to the city, generating a flood of new investment opportunities.
