Aston Business School gets MBA boost

ASTON Business School has received a boost after its MBA programme was ranked among the best in the UK.
In the latest Economist Which MBA Ranking 2011 the ABS course was ranked 13th in the UK, 28th in Europe and 77th in the world.
The business school, part of Aston University, also scored highly for its careers service and support, gaining top place in the UK for “student assessment of career service” and 2nd in the UK for “open new career opportunities”, putting it ahead of other prestigious UK institutions such as Cranfield School of Management and CASS Business School.
Prof John Edwards, Executive Dean of Aston Business School, said: “This latest ranking is further proof of the high esteem in which Aston Business School’s MBA programme is held worldwide.
“We are delighted to consolidate our position in the World Top 100 and are particularly pleased to be top in the UK for our careers service. In a difficult economic climate and tough jobs market, our MBA students know that they are well placed and supported to compete for the top jobs worldwide.”
