Aston and Birmingham universities popular with millionaires

ASTON and Birmingham universities have been rated among the best in the country for producing new millionaires.
Both feature in a table of the top 10 universities attended by millionaires – with 2.7% heading for Birmingham and 2% for Aston.
The list was headed by the University of London (10.9%), followed by Oxford (7.8%) and Cambridge (5.5%).
Disappointingly for the two institutions, both were beaten by Leeds (3.9%) and Manchester (3.5%).
The independent survey of 549 millionaires and multi-millionaires also revealed that 65% of those interviewed went to university, with a third achieving a Masters. The survey of UK based millionaires also highlights that 71% attended state school.
