River Island is latest retailer to open at West Brom’s New Square

WEST Bromwich’s New Square shopping development is set to welcome receive another leading retailer to its growing roster of businesses.

Fashion retailer, River Island, opens its new store at the popular centre on Saturday (March 1). It joins other high street clothing chains including H&M, Outfit, Next, Bank and Primark.

Covering 6,000 sq ft, the new store will feature a new children’s range as well as women’s and men’s fashion.

Steve Burr, New Square Centre Manager said: “We are thrilled to welcome River Island to New Square. They have a very loyal customer base that has been eager to see the retailer return to the complex. The store complements New Square’s impressive fashion offering and underlines our position as a prime retail hotspot in the West Midlands.”

Visitor numbers to the new centre are climbing steadily as West Bromwich looks to win back a lot of the trade lost to Birmingham and Merry Hill over the last 30 years.
