H1 revenues up for Norcros

BATHROOM products specialist Norcros is reporting 8.5% growth in revenue to £128.8m in the half year to September 30.
The company, which owns Birmingham-based Triton, showed revenue up from £118.7m in H1 2015, the figure is 9.2% higher on a constant currency basis.
The company, which has said it remains on course to meet expectations, said the growth had been driven by the strong performances from its South African operation and the recently acquired businesses.
Closing net debt is expected to be around £28m (2015: £29.2m). Working capital and cash management remain a key focus for the group.
A results statement said: “With the continuing strong performance of our South African business and the contribution from the recently acquired businesses offsetting the challenging UK market experienced in the first half, the board remains confident that the group will continue to make progress in line with its expectations for the year to March 31 2017.”
