JT boosts account management team

JT, the UK’s leading shower tray manufacturer, has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Midlands key account manager Claire Glover. Claire, aged 37 from Stourbridge, joins JT from Heritage Bathrooms, where she was area sales manager, with 21 years’ sales experience, including spells as contract sales representative at United Ceramic Tiles and retail sales manager at Edgebourn Building Contracts. John Schofield, sales and marketing director at JT, said: “We have been working hard to complete a national sales team and we feel Claire is the final part of the jigsaw.” Ms Glover said: “JT’s sterling reputation within the industry was a key factor in my decision to join the company and I can’t wait to play my part in the company’s expansion.”   

Baxter the new BDM at EDM

Wolverhampton-based information management provider EDM Group has bolstered its senior sales and marketing team with the appointment of Jason Baxter as business development director. Mr Baxter will be responsible for enhancing customers’ business improvement processes using a combination of EDM Group’s innovative technology and outsourcing capabilities.  Mr Baxter, who has more than 19 years’ industry experience in global IT and communications, joins from ReadSoft where he was responsible for the delivery of the UK sales plan for the document capture market. Before this, he spent ten years working for Verizon Business, a leading provider of global IT, security, and communication solutions.

Rigler steps up at SQS

SQS Software Quality Systems has appointed Dave Rigler as director of its central and northern region.  The company, which claims to be  the largest European software testing and quality assurance consultancy, is also looking to create approximately 20 additional consultancy roles over the next 12 months. Andy Vaisey, midlands regional sales manager, SQS, heads up the Brindley Square-based team which will report to Mr Rigler. He said: “There is huge potential in the Midlands as there is such a diverse range of industries. Our success stems from a solid understanding of our clients’ markets as well as the quality of our quality assurance engineers.” SQS announced last week a £5 million software testing deal with Specsavers. Mr Rigler joined SQS in 2005 and was previously director, industrial services and solutions.  He will be accountable for all sales and marketing as well as the delivery of SQS’ testing and quality services.
