CHARTERED accountants and business advisers Dains has promoted Andrew Stevens to business recovery and insolvency director.
Mr Stevens joined the Birmingham firm in 2007 as a senior manager and subsequently became a licensed insolvency practitioner in 2008.
He specialises in corporate restructuring, turnaround and insolvency.
Dains chief executive Spencer Wright said: “Andrew’s promotion is a well deserved personal achievement but also reflects the tremendous progress of the firm’s business recovery and insolvency team.
“Andy is an outstanding asset to the local office as well as to the firm’s wider Midlands client base.”
Mr Stevens added: “I’m delighted to receive this recognition. It’s still a challenging time for businesses and the services that we provide help business owners to make informed decisions that are necessary for their future survival.”
Dains employs around 100 staff, including 16 partners and directors, at its offices in Birmingham, Burton-on-Trent, Derby, Lichfield and Rugeley.
