Sign of the times as StopAd goes global

A WORCESTERSHIRE advertising firm is going global after seeing steep demand for its products during an event at the National Exhibition Centre.

StopAd, which is based in Bromsgrove, secured deals from China, Spain and Portugal as a result of the Parkex event, Europe’s leading exhibition for the car park industry.

The StopAd product is foremost an aid to make parking much safer, particular in multi-storey car parks, as instead of hitting a concrete bollard or brick wall, vehicles hit the flexible StopAd, which causes no damage to the vehicle whatsoever.

The product is a suitable object for business branding, while it also prevents car parks from having to deal with insurance claims from drivers whose vehicles have been damaged.

In the UK, NCP is already a partner of StopAd and the company is now hoping to achieve the same success globally.

Jon Brewer, chief executive and founder of StopAd, said: “I am thrilled at the fantastic response we received at Parkex. It clearly confirms the view of car park owners is the same the world over – they are looking for greater safety in their car parks, plus a better return on investment.

“We have made many new contacts at the Parkex show – both in Europe, China and beyond, plus here in the UK, and we ready to step up our production to accommodate our new forthcoming orders.”

Chris Poon, from Sinotek in China, said he was delighted to be working with StopAd in China and was looking forward to helping the firm expand internationally.

“We have been looking for a car parking product to take into China for some time – and this fits the bill perfectly,” he said.
