WORCESTERSHIRE agency Better PR has been retained by one of the UK’s largest group of NHS consultants. Alliance Surgical is continuing its relationship with the Bromsgrove firm to plan and implement media, marketing and digital strategies targeting major health insurance companies, brokers and GPs. The brief includes plans to build awareness of Birmingham-based Alliance Surgical’s approach to standardising the treatment of private patients and attempts to reduce costs for insurers and patients. Better has worked with Alliance over the last five years. Head of betterpr Juliet Betterton said: “Our programme will see us working with the most eminent surgeons and professors in the UK to affirm Alliance Surgical’s place as the country’s leading independent doctors’ group. We look forward to supporting Alliance Surgical’s ambitions.”
Chevrolet appoints Jewellery Quarter firm
BIRMINGHAM-based creative digital agency 383 Project has been appointed by car manufacturer Chevrolet to handle its social media efforts across Europe. The Jewellery Quarter firm will join a roster of agencies in rolling out a social presence for the brand across a number of European countries on Facebook. Interactive applications for Chevrolet Racing and the new Chevrolet electric car, the Volt, have already been rolled out in UK, Germany and Turkey.
Advisors host social media seminar
A SOCIAL media seminar was held by Warwickshire financial advisers Harrison, Beale and Owen about how it can boost business. Financial experts from the firm hosted two sessions with clients and professionals alongside social media guru James Pennington at Coventry Transport Museum. Around 50 people from a wide range of industries watched a presentation and took part in a Q&A.
