Incorporatewear secures major order to outfit Nationwide

MIDLAND based corporate clothing manufacturer Incorporatewear has secured a major order to supply uniforms for the Nationwide Building Society.
The order follows the Nationwide’s merger with Derbyshire, Cheshire and Dunfermline building societies, which has seen its branch network increase by 108 offices.
The merger has also seen Nationwide take on an additional 700 members of staff and following the successful integration, all now need corporate uniforms.
The Coleshill-based work wear specialist, which was co-founded by celebrity designer Jeff Banks, has supplied Nationwide’s corporate wardrobe since 1999.
Karen Lamb, Incorporatewear’s account manager for Nationwide, said: “This contract shows how corporate clothing can generate economies of scale across a group yet still maintain the individual brand identities of the divisions.”
The new members of staff will be selecting outfits from the Nationwide wardrobe, each designed by Incorporatewear’s Paula Cannon.
Staff in all branches will wear similar navy suiting with a tie and scarf specific to each division. Shirts and blouses will be branded with each division’s logos, and styles will include long and short sleeves both in lilac and light blue.
The new uniforms are likely to be seen in Derbyshire and Cheshire branches in early summer, and will roll-out to Dunfermline branches later in the year.
