Van centre wins £5.8m Coke contract

VOLKSWAGEN Van Centre Birmingham has secured a £5.8m fleet deal with an independent Coca-Cola bottler.

Coca-Cola Enterprises, which manufactures and sells more than four billion bottles and cans in Great Britain every year, purchased a 233-strong fleet of Volkswagen Transporters and Caddy Maxi vans.

The fleet will be used by the company’s 250 engineers who install and maintain drink dispensers and vending machines across the country.

Each vehicle has been fitted with adaptable racking and shelving systems by conversion specialists Bott. The deal was managed by HVF, part of Lex Autolease.

Tony Worrall, sales manager at Volkswagen Van Centre Birmingham, said: “Our aim is to provide quality vehicles and service, so we are delighted to have satisfied Coca-Cola Enterprises and HVF.

“We hope to strengthen these relationships in the future.”
