LAW firm Irwin Mitchell, which has an office in Birmingham, has announced a 9% increase in turnover to £171m.
It said this was due to a strong growth in both its corporate and personal injury business.
It also made a profit of £30.2m, and its profit per equity partner was £511,000 – 5.4% lower than last year’s figure of £540,000.
The firm now employs more than 2,000 people nationally and has 136 partners and directors.
The regional managing partner for the Birmingham office is Fergal Dowling.
The practice said the breadth of the firm’s service has been important in providing a platform for growth.
“Despite a challenging economic backdrop, Irwin Mitchell continues to make huge strides forward, particularly in terms of building a strong business team capable of winning work from some of the largest companies nationally,” a spokesman said.
