North Midlands upgrades results forecast after £100m win

Notts-based North Midland Construction has won new joint venture infrastructure contract for Severn Trent Water on the Birmingham Resilience Project worth in excess of £100m, and says it is upgrading its results forecast for the year.

The scheme will start on site in Q3 2017 and will be delivered over the next three years.

North Midland says the results for the year to 31 December 2017 are now expected to be ahead of management expectations.

North Midland will design and build a new water treatment plant at Frankley.

John Homer, chief executive of North Midland, said: “This is a fantastic flagship project to be awarded with one of our key customers and is a testament to the specialist capabilities that our group have developed”.
