National Business Awards shortlist unveiled

BIRMINGHAM-based Palletline and Mobile Fun are just two of the businesses shortlisted in the 2011 National Business Awards in partnership with Orange.
The former is shortlisted in the Business Enabler of the Year category while Mobile Fun is nominated for the Small Online Business of the Year prize.
The awards, which are being supported for the first time this year by TheBusinessDesk.com, feature more than 150 of Britain’s most innovative and sustainable public and private sector businesses in its shortlist.
Other well known names to feature are Debenhams, JD Wetherspoon and moneysupermarket.com through to rising stars such as Ovo Energy, Door-Stop and ShortList Media. The combined turnover of all finalists this year was £96bn.
Finalists will make their presentations in person before a judging panel in September and October at Coutts & Co in London with the awards dinner taking place on November 8 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London.
