Health and wellness retailer Holland & Barrett is enjoying healthy growth of its own as it doubles the size of its Warwickshire headquarters.

The group has more than 1,500 stores in 14 countries, with half of those in the UK and Ireland.

Its headquarters at Eliot Park in Nuneaton have expanded by 48,000 sq ft, enabling the head office team to grow to 500 people.

Coventry-based Deeley Construction has now completed the multi-million-pound development and handed over the building to the company.

“We moved to Eliot Park in 2010 and it has been a great base from which to grow the company,” said Peter Aldis, chief executive of Holland & Barrett International.

“We are delighted that we have been able to expand on site to meet our plans to grow the business.”

Martin Gallagher, managing director of Deeley Construction, said Eliot Park had been a huge economic success story for the north of Warwickshire.

He added: “Eliot Park is a classic example of regeneration which Deeley Group has led over many decades and this latest phase shows Holland & Barrett’s commitment to the region.”
