MIPIM is the Special One for design consultancy

Worcestershire building design consultancy, One Creative Environments is to showcase its work and promote investment opportunities in the county as part of the Midlands delegation at this year MIPIM exhibition.

One has attended the global property and real estate show and its London counterpart, MIPIM UK, for several years and this year will take its place alongside other stakeholders from the Midlands Engine.

The company has experienced success at previous events, both achieving investment for clients and winning work for its multi-disciplinary building design company.

Mark Martin, a director of the company, is also the chair of the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s (WLEP’s) Business Board.

In this role, he will be a panel member at the session ‘Showcasing occupier opportunities in manufacturing, logistics and other sectors’ in The Midlands UK Pavilion, which takes place on March 14.

He said: “As an integrated building design practice, which is delivering across the Midlands Engine and internationally for blue chip companies such as Toyota and AVL, we welcome the opportunity to join the Midlands Engine at MIPIM.

“As chair of the WLEP Business Board, I believe that Worcestershire and the Midlands have a range of excellent investment opportunities that should be showcased in forums such as this, and look forward to also helping to raise the profile of the region.”

James Lawrence, his fellow One director, who is also attending the event, added: “One has grown significantly in recent years and this is a key international event for us. Whilst the company has been to MIPIM many times, personally this is my first time in Cannes and I look forward to exploring some exciting opportunities and making some great connections.”
