Jobs created as builder’s merchant reveals plans for 66,000 sq ft warehouse
A digital builders’ merchant is set to expand its operations across Birmingham with the launch of a 66,000 sq ft warehouse in Tyseley this summer, creating more than a dozen jobs.
BUILT/, which opened its first warehouse in Aston at the end of last year, says it is on a mission to save tradespeople time, with instant click and collect, guaranteed delivery slots, and convenient drive-through collection.
The new site, situated at Kingpin Industrial Park, will stock thousands of ready to load trade essentials, allowing customers to pick up their orders at a time that suits them.
Nick Thomas, managing director of BUILT/, said: “Following the success of our first builders’ warehouse in Aston, we are delighted to be expanding across the city with the upcoming launch of our Tyseley site – offering the wider Birmingham trade a simple and reliable way to source their supplies.
“Work is underway to completely refit the unit at Tyseley ready for the grand opening in June and we are now recruiting for 13 roles at the warehouse.”
BUILT/ stocks a wide range of staple building materials, electrical equipment and plumbing and heating supplies, as well as kitchen and bathroom products, painting and decorating items, and tools, fixings and equipment – including workwear and PPE.
