17 jobs lost after healthtech business fails

Administrators have sold the assets of a Birmingham healthtech group which collapsed with the loss of 17 jobs.
Safe Patient Systems Group, which included Safe Triage, developed software solutions for the healthcare sector.
The Innovation Birmingham-based group began to experience cashflow difficulties due to contractual delays and long sales cycles.
RSM was appointed administrators of the parent company, Safe Patient Systems Group, in January and attempts to sell Safe Triage as a going concern foundered.
As a result, the company was wound down prior to our appointment and all employees made redundant. A pre-packaged sale of the assets to an unnamed third party supplier was agreed.
The other member of the group, Safe Patient Systems Limited, has also ceased to trade and has been placed into liquidation.
