Nottingham restaurant to expand into Birmingham

Clean Cut Kitchen will open in One Snow Hill

Nottingham’s Clean Cut Kitchen is set to open its first venue outside the city.

The health-conscious restaurant and takeaway brand will open its third premises at One Snow Hill, Birmingham, in a deal brokered by Box Property.

Clean Cut Kitchen offers a restaurant and take-out service where customers can order non-processed, whole, fast foods on the go. It also offers a bespoke meal preparation service designed to help its customers achieve their lifestyle and fitness goals.

Clean Cut Kitchen opened its first restaurant on Derby Road in Nottingham in 2017 and only earlier this year the brand announced its second store at intu Victoria Centre in the city.

Clean Cut Kitchen, which is owned by Antonio Vendone and James Irons, who also own an artisan pizza bar in Nottingham called Suede, will bring 25 jobs to Birmingham.

Vendone said: “We are excited to be bringing our concept to Birmingham’s active, body conscious, and healthy patrons who want a tastier, nutritionally balanced way to dine in or take-out in the city.

“Our team is made up of nutritional experts and chefs who are passionate about clean eating, and whilst Birmingham has a thriving food and drink scene already, we saw a gap in the market for our offering in the region.

“The property is located opposite Pure Gym and within Birmingham’s Business District, so it’s perfect for those wanting something that tastes great, is healthy and quick to collect. Our brand isn’t just for people who go to the gym regularly, it’s for people who want to be more conscious about their eating habits and to enjoy a healthier lifestyle.”

Frankie Labbate of Box Property said: We are really pleased to be on this exciting new expansion journey with Clean Cut Kitchen which is both a strong product and brand, is relevant to today’s lifestyles and has potential for large scale growth nationwide. Our client’s brand, product and passion are the driving force behind the team’s success so far.

“As with its two Nottingham sites, we know Clean Cut Kitchen will be very well received in Birmingham. Whilst the city does have a really strong food and drink offering, there is a gap in the market for such a relevant and on trend brand such as Clean Cut Kitchen, offering healthy fast food alternatives to the run of the mill options currently on offer.”
