One year on from being awarded 2021 City of Culture, Coventry is already full of momentum as the city looks to make the most of its year in the spotlight.

At a breakfast panel event, TheBusinessDesk.com and Band Hatton Button will be assessing the changes and challenges that lie ahead in the next two years.

The panel will examine the impact of investments and developments are changing the city, and how this is helping to shape a refocused identity and ultimately drive change that lasts a generation.

The panel, chaired by TheBusinessDesk.com’s joint managing director Alex Turner, includes:
– Martin Reeves, chief executive of Coventry City Council and a trustee of UK City of Culture 2021
– Neil Edginton, managing director of EDG Property, the developer responsible for landmark regeneration scheme, The Co-Operative
– Fleur Sexton, managing director of training and skills business PET-Xi, deputy lieutenant of the West Midlands, and businesswoman of the year 2017

Hosted by manufacturers FANUC UK at its site next to the Manufacturing Technology Campus, the breakfast seminar will provide a timely update about what is happening around the city and look forward to how this forms part of the long-term vision.

The event is on Thursday, December 6, from 8am-10am, with the panel discussion starting at 8.30am.
