Specialist chiller and air conditioning design and installation business Cooltherm has opened a site in Nuneaton to support expansion in the Midlands and North of England.

The company, which was acquired by the Carver Group last summer, specialises in the design, supply, installation and servicing of air conditioning systems and chillers, operating across the UK and internationally.

Dave Blackmore for Cooltherm, said: “Continuous innovation and development, coupled with the highest quality customer service, has contributed to the rapid growth and success of the business since its launch in 1992.

“However, with the majority of our service and design hubs spread across the south of England and Wales, it was clear we would need a geographically suitable location from which to support our ever-growing customer base in the Midlands and North. The site in Warwickshire is ideal to enable us to expand our services, allowing us to install and service bespoke chiller and air conditioning systems for businesses across the UK and overseas.”

The Cooltherm offices will include sales and workshop facilities and initially create three jobs, with further recruitment planned as the business expands.

The West Midlands-based Carver Group centrally manages competence centres for research and development, manufacturing and project management in order to create innovative heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions for a wide range of market sectors including retail, commercial, industry and the public sector.

As well as having its headquarters in Walsall, the group has representation in 50 countries and offices in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Canada.
