Birmingham City Council is this week talking to investors and developers about its ambitions for a housing-led transformation of the Ladywood part of the city. The development area covers 62 hectares and is being described as one of the largest city centre estate renewals in the UK. Ladywood is the largely-residential area from Brindleyplace and Five Ways towards Edgbaston Reservoir and the Greater Ickneild scheme.
