A refurbished office scheme aimed at SMEs has now achieved full occupation.

A range of small businesses have purchased or rented units within the scheme, including Grape Benefits, Checkleys Surveyors, Monsoon Venue Group, Phidex/Ginger Energy, Pure Destinations, Word360, Sport Structures, communications agency Shaw & Underwood, and TRP Solicitors

The deals were agreed by joint agents Cushman & Wakefield and Avison Young on behalf of Midos Group.

The Cloisters was formerly a single premises and was reconfigured to appeal to smaller businesses.

Cameron Thomson from Cushman & Wakefield’s Office agency team in Birmingham said: “We are delighted The Cloisters has now reached full occupancy.

“The scheme, with its attractive courtyard and fountain, has proved to be extremely popular for SME’s seeking good quality, flexible space within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre.

“The performance of The Cloisters demonstrates the continuing popularity of Edgbaston’s leafy surroundings and amenity provisions which are ever improving and a real pull for occupiers.”

Moishe Varley, of Midos Group added: “We are delighted that The Cloisters has proved such a success. We have worked closely with Cushman & Wakefield and Avison Young to drive the scheme towards being a revived, busy hub for the businesses now in occupation.”

George Jennings of Avison Young said: “Once the strategy for The Cloisters was decided, demand for the ten units proved strong amongst a good mix of professional and creative businesses looking to secure their own self-contained premises in Edgbaston.”
