Worcestershire tech firm to expand in Japan

Worcestershire open source software company Payara Services is set to expand in Japan after signing a new partnership with Samuaism.

The software company is based at the Malvern Science Park in Worcestershire. It’s signed a deal making Samuraism its new solutions partner to enable it to expand its market share across Japan and further into South Asia.

Payara has supported Japanese customer Rakuten Card since 2017 and is looking to expand its open source solutions to a growing customer base.

It has 50 existing customers including BMW, Hermes and Papa John’s.

Steve Millidge, CEO of Payara Services Ltd. said: “We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Samuraism.

“Payara is proving to be very popular in Japan and having such a skilled partner on board means that we will be able to provide more local support to our customers as well as the Payara community.”
