Traffic Alert: Long delays on M6 southbound as rush hour traffic builds

Rush hour commuters face long delays on the M6 southbound near Birmingham Airport.

A broken down vehicle between junctions 3A (Birmingham Airport) and 3 (Bedworth / Coventry (N)) has closed a lane and caused tailbacks adding 40 minutes to journeys, which is expected to grow as more commuters join the motorway.

Highways England is advising the lane could remain blocked until 6.15pm.
