Legal heavyweight takes up Commonwealth Games role

Leicester City’s first-ever general counsel has joined Commonwealth Games team.
Caroline McGrory who has headed the Foxes’ legal team for two and a half years, takes up her new role ahead of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Birmingham.
McGrory was formerly director of legal and commercial affairs at Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix. She was part of the management team which was involved in the management buy-out from Honda to create the Brawn GP F1 team at the end of 2008.
Before that she was an associate at Charles Russell in London.
McGrory is now assembling a team ahead of the Games and is looking to recruit an executive assistant.
