Legal heavyweight takes up Commonwealth Games role

Leicester City’s first-ever general counsel has joined Commonwealth Games team.

Caroline McGrory who has headed the Foxes’ legal team for two and a half years, takes up her new role ahead of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Birmingham.

McGrory was formerly director of legal and commercial affairs at Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix. She was part of the management team which was involved in the management buy-out from Honda to create the Brawn GP F1 team at the end of 2008.

Before that she was an associate at Charles Russell in London.
