Leisure attraction to launch two venues

Inflata Nation is to launch two new sites this summer in Telford and West Bromwich with more than 65,000 sq ft of space.

The firm was the first to bring the concept of indoor inflatable theme parks to the UK when it opened an arena in Manchester in 2017 has since launched venues in Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Runcorn and Beverley.

The West Bromwich site will be located at Astle Retail Park, off Cronehill Linksway and the Telford site will be located at the Telford Centre.

Both arenas will be looking to hire around 10 full and part time members of staff each and are set to open in August.

The husband and wife co-founders Michelle and Matt Ball said: “We are strongly represented in the north of England and in Scotland, and now we’re expanding rapidly in the Midlands.

“Each centre is slightly different in design, showing that Inflata Nation is constantly looking to evolve and entertain in new ways.

“We want to appeal to everyone, be it mums and dads bringing their kids, or adults who just want to let their hair down in a friendly and safe environment.”

The West Bromwich site will have a ‘super slide’ arena – featuring the most amount of inflatable slides out of any Inflata venue and the Telford venue will feature inflatable bumper cars and electric buggies in their own unique ‘demolition’ arena.

Michelle and Matt first launched a series of trampoline parks, called ‘Jump Nation’ in 2014 and then in 2017 switched from trampolines to the Inflata Nation format in a bid to negotiate what was becoming a crowded marketplace.

They are planning ten new locations for 2019 and formalising an international franchise, with plans to expand into further international markets next year.

If the rate of expansion is realised, Inflata Nation projects a turnover of more than £16m by the end of 2020.
