Headquarters building hits the market

Further to the completion of its new headquarters in Worcester city centre, Fortis Living is selling its former site in Malvern.

Property consultancy Harris Lamb, which oversaw the planning and build processes for the company’s new office in Midland Road, is the sole agent for Festival House, a 21,200 sq ft self-contained office which was purpose-built for housing association in 1999.

Neil Harris, director, said: “Opportunities of this calibre are very rare: Not only is it the only building of its size available within the county, but it’s also a modern, well-appointed freehold building with expansion potential, excellent facilities, extensive parking, and convenient access to the motorway network via junction 7 of the M5.

“We have worked very closely with Fortis Living – which merged with Waterloo Housing Group in October 2018 to form the new Platform Housing Group – throughout this relocation process, with our Agency department acquiring the new site in Midland Road, our planning securing permission to develop it, and our  Building Consultancy team overseeing the build of the new HQ.

“Festival House will be vacant at the end of the summer, providing occupiers with the chance to immediately occupy a self-contained office close to this thriving town. A detached, purpose-built, two-storey office building, with an additional 2,500 sq ft of space in the form of a detached garage with store, the largely open-plan office has some partitioned offices and meeting rooms, and 122 parking spaces.”
